How long does the process take?
Once your appeal is submitted to the county, there will be a 4-6 week process time.  Once the county has processed the appeal, you will be notified of their acceptance.  Once accepted by the county, we’ll start to build our case and provide as much evidence as possible to backup the values stated on the appeal.  This process can take up to 60 days before the value is finalized.  After the value is finalized, the county will send you a notice regarding the amount of your refund.  From start to finish, the process can take 3-6 months.  We handle everything for you so you don’t have to worry about the details.

Can I cancel my order?
Once we submit your application to the county, your order can not be canceled.  You hired us to act on your behalf.  Fees are non-refundable once work has begun your property, except if we can’t get your property taxes reduced by at least the amount you paid us.

What happens if my property declines further in value next year?
If your property taxes continue to decline next year, you may be eligible again next year for another reduction.  The county will automatically adjust for the decline in property values. However, they don’t always adjust down low enough.  Your property may be assessed higher than it is really worth.  This means you are paying too much for property taxes.

I missed the deadline for my county, now what?
Your appeal must be filed before the deadline for the respective county.  If you miss the deadline, you’ll have to wait until next year to file.  By then, property values will have changed again and you might have missed your chance for a reduction in taxes.

Can I file the property tax reduction paperwork myself?
Yes.  You can file your own property tax appeal.  But you will have search for the correct form, Go the county assessor’s office to get the correct form.  Complete the form correctly (or it will be denied).  Turn it in before the deadline.  Spend 3+ hours in a community meeting learning how to prepare for you court date.  Research your home and all the homes in your area that sold recently.  Provide photos and other documentation to build your case so you don’t get denied in court.  Spend a full day in court waiting for your name to be called so you can present your case.  Then wait for the verdict.  If you do everything correctly, you’ll get your property taxes reduced and save the cost of our fee.  But ask yourself, is all that time and effort really worth it?  Let us do the work for you and guarantee results or your money back!
